Arcteryx, Atom Hoody LT (Gen2.1)

A hooded mid layer jacket that is worn in either a stand-alone manner or in conjunction with a wet weather protective jacket.

The Arc’teryx Pro Atom Hoody LT is a proven classic. The 2nd generation brought several improvements, which are also included in the Gen 2.1. The highly functional fabric combination makes the hoody a lightweight and breathable jacket that excels both as an insulating midlayer under other clothing layers and as a standalone piece during sports on cold days, thanks to its performance.

To ensure optimal functionality even during sweaty challenges, the Atom Hoody LT features a material mix with a balanced ratio of breathability and weather protection. The interior fabric chosen is the LI PENG High Air Perm Nylon Ripstop, effectively leading moisture and excess heat away from the body. The DWR-treated CLIMASHIELD Combat insulation provides excellent ventilation and retains warmth even when wet. The majority of the outer material is the smooth TORAY Mechanical Stretch Mini-Rip Lightweight, offering unrestricted agility due to its stretchability and the added benefit of standing up to occasional rain showers thanks to its water repellency. For enhanced ventilation, POLARTEC Power Stretch Hardface Fleece has been placed on the sides under the arms.

The full-length front zipper allows for increased ventilation when needed. The No Slip Zip ensures the slider stays in place even during jumping and jogging, preventing unwanted slipping. The insulated hood is slim-fitting and equipped with an adjustable elastic drawcord for a secure fit. The jacket has two front zippered pockets. For better cable management, both pockets have cable ports leading into the interior of the jacket. Elastic loops are provided at chest height and on the collar to secure the cables path. The left-side chest pocket allows quick access to essential gear, even when using the hoody as a midlayer. The hem with a continuous elastic drawcord can be adjusted using lateral cord stoppers.
