The Arc’teryx LEAF Atom Vest LT Gen2.1 is a versatile midlayer vest that boasts an appealing design, making it perfect for standalone use in everyday activities. As a part of the LT series, this garment offers a well-balanced combination of insulation and breathability, all while remaining lightweight.

Arc’teryx achieves this balance by utilizing a mix of functional materials, all treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. The inner lining features LI PENG High Air Perm Nylon Ripstop, which efficiently wicks away moisture and enhances overall functionality. For reliable insulation, they’ve incorporated CLIMASHIELD Combat synthetic fibers, providing excellent breathability while retaining warmth even in damp conditions. The outer layer is made of TORAY Mechanical Stretch Mini-Rip Lightweight, providing added protection against brief rain showers. On the sides, you’ll find panels made of highly breathable and elastic POLARTEC Power Stretch Hardface Fleece.

The front zipper is a reliable profile zipper, and the No Slip Zip ensures that the zipper won’t accidentally open on its own. The collar is lined with soft fleece, effectively protecting your neck from the sun, cold, and wind. Two spacious zippered pockets come with cable ports, making it convenient for managing your cables. Additionally, elastic loops have been sewn on both sides inside the chest seam and around the collar for improved cable routing. On the left side, there’s an external zippered chest pocket, providing secure extra storage. The arm openings are encased with comfortable elastic bands, providing a snug fit. The vest’s hem is equipped with an all-around elastic drawcord for adjustability. The excess cord length is neatly stored facing up for minimizing the risk of snagging.
