ESS, Crossblade Laser Protective Lens, LPL-B

The LPL-B Lens technology is designed to block non-visible InfraRed lasers from damaging the wearer’s eyes.  ESS LPL-B lenses protect against non-visible IR lasers at 820-1090nm (4.0 OD) and 1064nm (5.0 OD), visible violet lasers at 405nm wavelength (5.0 OD), and visible blue lasers at 445nm wavelength (4.0 OD).   At a VLT of 57% photopic (daytime) and 42% scotopic (nighttime) this allows for optimum protection and operation versatility in both bright and low light conditions.

The ESS Crossblade Eyeshield features advanced ClearZone Anti-fog coatings plus two different sized lens and nosepiece options to allow for customizable modular fit. Users can choose between a Standard lens and nosepiece or NARO lens and NARO nosepeice. With the modular fit system, the Crossblade™ can be set specifically to fit the end user’s facial structure. Modular Fit equals preformance and comfort.

The Crossblade’s Tri-Tech Fit frame features a snug fit with zero pressure points. Advanced ClearZone 2.0 Dual Flow Coated lenses are engineered to eliminate fog inside and prevent scratches outside. Distortion-free ESSOPTICS keep your vision rasor sharp and the DedBolt Lens Lock pivot allows rapid lens exchanges.

ESS Modular Technology allows all lenses to be quickly and inexpensively interchanged.  Built from extra-thick, 2.4mm high-impact polycarbonate.
