ESS Laser Protective Lens LPL-3B provide protection against Visible Green and Non-Visible Infrared laser threats

Lasers can cause severe retina damage. ESS LPL-3B lenses are specifically formulated to maximize protection against direct, reflected and scattered Visible Green & Non-Visible Infrared Laser beams and radiation.

The LPL-3B Lens technology is designed to block visible green, blue violet and non-visible InfraRed lasers from damaging the wearer’s eyes. ESS LPL-3B lenses protect against visible violet lasers at 405nm wavelength (OD 5.0+), visible blue lasers at 445nm wavelength (OD 3.0+), visible green lasers at 532nm wavelength (OD 4.5+), non-visible IR lasers at 800-1090nm wavelengths (OD 4.0+), and non-visible IR lasers at 1064nm wavelengths (OD 6.0+). At a VLT of 22% photopic (daytime) and 8.4% Scotopic (nighttime) this allows for optimum protection and operation versatility in both bright and low light conditions.

This Laser Protective replacement lens for the Crossbow eyeshield is built from extra-thick, 2.4mm high-impact polycarbonate, and features ESSOPTICS for distortion-free clarity and 100% UVA/UVB protection.

The Crossbow’s DedBolt Lens Lock system allows for rapid lens interchange.

All Crossbow replacement lenses are compatible with both Crossbow Tri-Tech Fit frames (for normal use) and Crossbow Suppressor frames (for use with ear cup hearing protection and communications gear). Crossbow lenses can also be used in Crosshair frames.
