ESS Profile NVG Laser Protective Lens

Battle tested in the most demanding environments, the ESS Profile NVG is the primary authorized goggle issued by the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as issued by the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and many NATO governments. ESS Profile NVG Series replacement lenses are compatible with ESS Profile NVG, Profile Pivot and TurboFan goggles.

The extra-thick, 2,8mm polycarbonate lens offers mazimum impact protection and 100% UVA/UVB filtration. ESS`s advanced ClearZone Flow Coat lens treatments provide the optimal combination of anti-scratch coatings on the outside of the lens and anti-fog coatings on the inside.

Lasers can cause severe retina damage. ESS LPL-B lenses are specifically formulated to maximize protection against direct, reflected and scattered Non-Visible Infrared Laser beams and radiation.

The LPL-B Lens technology is designed to block Non-Visible InfraRed lasers from damaging the wearer’s eyes. ESS LPL-B lenses provide ballistic protection along with 4.0+ Optical Density (OD) that blocks wavelengts 820-1080nm , and 5.0+ Optical Density (OD) at 1064nm wavelengths from these lasers. The lens tint’s 57% VLT allows for optimum protection and operation versatility in both day or night.
