- The unique innovation found on the FN Smart ProtectoR-303T is the integration of an electro-optic solution composed of an on-board camera and image processing software that detects human heads in real time, providing audible and visual warnings as well as an automated trigger blocking mechanism. This technology drastically reduces the risk of serious and potentially irreversible head-related injuries.
- The FN VictoR-SP camera can record images taken during firing, providing valuable data for afteraction reviews or judicial investigations.

When the FN Smart ProtectoR-303T is pointed at the target, the FN VictoR-SP image processing camera connected to the FN 303 Tactical compressed air launcher captures, records and analyses in real time images of the scene of the intervention.
If the FN 303 projectile is likely to hit a person’s head, the FN VictoR-SP emits audible and visual warnings toinform the user of a dangerous terminal effectand also transmits an electro-mechanical impulse which temporarily makes firing impossible.
If the impact area is outside of the safety perimeter identified by the FN VictoR-SP, the launcher can fire, in semi-auto mode, spin-stabilized FN 303 projectiles with about 30 joules of energy giving the effect of a baton strike.
The projectile breaks up on hitting the target, transferring energy without risk of abrasions or ricochets.
